SunSeeker bi folding-sliding door frames were designed and developed using resilient aluminium, because of it's strength and therefore suitability for up to 7.2 metre openings. The aluminium is thermally broken, which means that the internal and external components of each bifolding door frame has a thermal division to ensure that the temperatures inside and outside do not conduct heat or cold from one surface to the other.
The strength of aluminium enables us to create the slimmest of bifolding door frames - a narrow profile and sightlines - more of the view through a higher percentage of glass: wooden and pvc frames, even re-inforced with metal, are wider. With aluminium, your view is through the glass, not at the framework. Aluminium is also less prone to damage than timber or plastic.
The aluminium frames are powder-coated in our premises, white as standard, or in a choice of industry-standard RAL colours. The finished bifolds, whether white, sepia, green, silver, graphite, etc., are virtually maintenance-free - perhaps requiring a wipe down with a damp cloth now and then. No painting or varnishing - ever.
Our Slimline bi folding door system with a low cill is available as a room divider as well as for patio doors. We install a number of bifolds between house and conservatory. When fully open, the narrow profile ensures the maximum access and light flow. When closed, the narrow frames allow more light and better view that with pvc or wood alternatives. Please view our bifolding doors gallery.
In addition to our Slimline bifolds with aluminium frames, we have introduced Frameless Glass Doors.
